Copper tripeptide complex studied in collagen synthesis and skin-remodeling research.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Sold only to purchasers 21 or older who accept the research use policy.
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. Plasma levels of the peptide decline with age, which is part of why it has attracted interest in dermatological and regenerative research since the 1970s.
In fibroblast cultures and animal wound models it has been studied for effects on collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, metalloproteinase balance and gene-expression profiles. It is also a common cosmetic ingredient in topical formulations.
The list above summarises where this compound appears in the scientific literature. It describes research activity, not properties or effects of any product sold here.
