Privacy policy

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number and shipping and billing addresses. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout page and are handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy; we receive only a confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card. When you use the contact form we collect the details you enter.

How we use it

To fulfil and ship orders, to send receipts and tracking information, to respond to enquiries, to prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and payment-network obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses browser local storage to remember your cart and your acknowledgement of the research use policy. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

Order records are kept for seven years to meet tax and payment-network requirements. Contact messages are kept for two years.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it, by emailing support@valorsynthetics.com.
