Research use policy

This policy forms part of the terms of sale for every order placed with Valor Synthetics. By entering the site and by completing a purchase you agree to it.

1. Nature of the products

All products are chemical reagents supplied for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not manufactured under pharmaceutical quality systems, are not sterile drug products and have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority for any use. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices.

2. Permitted use

Products may be used only for laboratory research and analytical purposes by persons who are qualified to handle chemical reagents safely. They may not be used in or on humans or animals, in foods, drugs, cosmetics or household products, or for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.

3. Purchaser representations

By ordering you represent that you are at least 21 years of age; that you are purchasing for the research purposes described above; that you have the training and facilities to handle the products safely; and that you will not resell, redistribute or transfer the products for any prohibited use.

4. No claims

Descriptions on this site summarise published research for context. They are not representations about the properties, safety, effects or suitability of any product, and nothing on this site should be read as a recommendation to use any product in any way other than as a laboratory reagent.

5. Compliance

Valor Synthetics reserves the right to decline, cancel and refund any order, and to close any account, where the intended use appears inconsistent with this policy. We cooperate with payment processors, carriers and regulators on compliance matters.

6. Responsibility

The purchaser assumes all responsibility for confirming that the purchase, possession and use of a product are lawful in the purchaser's jurisdiction, and for the safe handling and disposal of the product.
