Pentadecapeptide studied in tendon, ligament and gastrointestinal injury models.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Sold only to purchasers 21 or older who accept the research use policy.
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic 15-amino-acid fragment of a protein found in human gastric juice. It is one of the most widely cited peptides in preclinical repair research, with the bulk of the literature coming from rodent models of soft-tissue, bone and gastrointestinal injury.
Research interest centers on its interactions with the nitric-oxide system, VEGFR2-mediated angiogenesis and growth-factor expression in injured tissue. The lyophilized peptide is stable at room temperature for shipping and dissolves readily in bacteriostatic water.
The list above summarises where this compound appears in the scientific literature. It describes research activity, not properties or effects of any product sold here.
