Research overview

CJC-1295 without DAC, also called Mod GRF (1-29), is a 29-amino-acid analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone with four substitutions (D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15, Leu27) that improve stability against enzymatic cleavage while keeping a short half-life.

It is used in research on GHRH-receptor signaling and pulsatile growth-hormone release in pituitary cell cultures and animal models. The 'no DAC' designation distinguishes it from the albumin-binding Drug Affinity Complex version.

Areas of published research

  • GHRH-receptor binding and signaling
  • Pulsatile GH secretion in pituitary models

Storage and handling

  • Lyophilized vials: store at −20 °C for long-term storage, or 2–8 °C for up to several weeks. Keep sealed and protected from light.
  • Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening, so moisture does not condense on the cold powder.
  • After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8 °C and use within 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
  • Add diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl gently; do not shake.

Documentation

Each lot is tested by an independent laboratory for purity (RP-HPLC) and identity (mass spectrometry). The certificate of analysis for your lot ships with the order; copies for any lot can be requested through the contact page with the lot number from the vial label.
